Newark Artist Collaboration x Audible Inc.

Photo documentation by Rachel Fawn Alban (2021-present)

Since 2021, I have been documenting the Newark Artist Collaboration, an Audible Inc. initiative which supports opportunities for local artists to create installations and public artworks inside Audible’s headquarters and throughout the arts and education district in downtown Newark, NJ.

Audible hired me as a photographer to document this project, including headshots, artist portraits, artists-in-action, works in process, and completed art installations. My photos have been used for web and social media, slideshows and presentations, video b-roll, large scale printed ads at Newark Broad Street Train Station, and more.

It has been a privilege to connect with inspiring artists and document the transformation of this arts-centric city.
